Over 21,000 out-of-wedlock teen pregnancies recorded from 2019 to 2024, Parliament told


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 21,114 pregnancies involving unmarried teenagers were recorded at government health facilities between 2019 and 2024, says Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

The Women, Family and Community Development Minister said in a parliamentary written reply that efforts by her ministry to address this issue include strengthening reproductive health education, counselling programmes and community support.
