Kids reported missing in Kajang found safe 12 hours later


KAJANG: Two foreign children who were reported missing for almost 12 hours have been found.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof, in a statement Tuesday (Feb 10), said that the two children, both under the age of three, were originally reported missing from an apartment along Jalan Reko late Monday (Feb 9).

The duo were found at 10am Tuesday after police identified CCTV footage that aided in the discovery of the children at another apartment in Bandar Kajang.

“Both children were found to be in good condition with no physical injuries. However, they will be sent to Kajang Hospital for further medical examination.

“Further investigations are also being conducted to determine whether there were elements of negligence involved in this incident,” he said.
