e-Kehakiman system hit by technical glitch, manual filing temporarily required

KUALA LUMPUR: The e-Kehakiman system is experiencing technical issues, according to the Federal Court Chief Registrar’s Office.

It added that, following the disruption, online document filing cannot be carried out.

“As such, the manual filing of documents has to be done via the relevant court’s registration counter during this period.”

“The manual filing method will remain in effect until an official announcement is issued after the system has fully recovered,” it said in a statement on Monday (Feb 2).

It said that all matters involving case mentions, trials, hearings and case management should be referred directly to the respective courts.

The office apologised for the inconvenience and said inquiries could be directed to the e-Kehakiman via division director Harmi Thamri Mohamad at 03-8880 3531, division assistant registrar Muhamad Faizal Ismail at 08-8880 3614, or its information technology division director Mohamad Khaiir Kareem at 08-8880 4208.
