Teenager survives three-storey fall at Penang condo


GEORGE TOWN: A 15-year-old girl has survived a three-storey fall from the 10th to the seventh floor of a condominium in Gelugor here.

George Town deputy OCPD Supt Lee Swee Sake said they received information about the incident at about 1.15pm on Sunday (Jan 25).

"The female teenager fell from a bedroom on the 10th floor and was found on the common area on the seventh floor of the condominium at 1.05pm," he said in a statement on Monday (Jan 26).

Supt Lee said the severely injured victim was taken to Penang Hospital's intensive care unit.

He said police investigations have not found any elements of criminal activity.
