Coordinate to keep peace, says NSC

KOTA KINABALU: Synergy between the people and security agencies, through coordination by the National Security Council (NSC), is crucial in maintaining peace and stability for the nation.

“Sabah has massive potential in tourism, maritime and economic sectors that can generate billions in revenue if they are developed systematically and earnestly,” said NSC Deputy Director-General Datuk Baharuddin Ahmad after paying a courtesy visit to the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, at the Istana Seri Kinabalu yesterday.

Baharuddin added that Sabah, with its vast economic and development potentials, must ensure close cooperation with federal agencies and stakeholders, including those from Sarawak.
