Hazem Mubarak Musa appointed chairman of Sabah state-owned companies


KOTA KINABALU: Hazem Mubarak Musa, the assemblyman for Sungai Manila, has been appointed as the chairman of the state-owned companies, Sawit Kinabalu and Borneo Samudera.

He expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to lead this government-linked company.

"I very much appreciate the appointment, and it strengthens my resolve to ensure the GLC continues to excel," Hazem said on Monday (Sept 5) after visiting the Sawit Kinabalu office and receiving a briefing on the company.

Hazem has pledged to fulfil his new responsibilities with integrity and uphold the company’s standards of excellence. He hopes to further drive the growth and success of the organisation.
