GEORGE TOWN: The police are stepping up nationwide security measures in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the move was part of routine police operations carried out during festive seasons or the staging of large-scale events.
