Jalan Bukit Bintang to close for ‘I Lite U’ Festival dry run on Jan 1


KUALA LUMPUR: Jalan Bukit Bintang will be closed for both the dry run and the launch of the “I Lite U” Festival 2026 Lighting Programme.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said in a statement that Jalan Bukit Bintang will experience full closures on both days.

"A rehearsal for this programme will be held on Jan 1 from 6:00pm onwards, which will involve a full closure of Jalan Bukit Bintang from Pavilion to the Federal Hotel.

"The official event will take place on Jan 3 from 7:30pm to 10:00pm, involving a full closure of Jalan Bukit Bintang from Pavilion to the Federal Hotel," he said.

He added that the road closures are being conducted by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

The “I Lite U” launch is held in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
