1MDB verdict: Najib found guilty on all charges (Live blog)


PUTRAJAYA: The High Court has delivered its long-awaited verdict in Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s RM2.8bil 1MDB trial, capping more than seven years of courtroom battles in one of Malaysia’s most consequential corruption cases.

Trial judge Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah on Friday (Dec 26) announced that the former prime minister has been found guilty of all four charges of misappropriating 1MDB funds and 21 counts of money laundering.

Najib is already serving time at Kajang Prison in connection with the separate SRC International case.
