Missing 12-year-old boy in Taman Bukit Indah returns home safely


JOHOR BARU: The 12-year-old boy reported missing in Taman Bukit Indah here after a disagreement with his parents over the use of an iPad returned home safely on Wednesday (Dec 24) evening.

Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm M. Kumarasan said a report on the child’s disappearance was received at 10.46am on Tuesday (Dec 23) from the boy’s 47-year-old father.

He said the boy, identified as Tang Hong Jun, was believed to have left his family home in Taman Bukit Indah after he was not allowed to use the electronic device.

"The boy is believed to have hidden in an empty house near his residence and the missing person has since returned home safely,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.- Bernama
