MetMalaysia issues tropical depression warning near Kemaman, Terengganu


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) on Friday (Nov 28) issued a warning on a tropical depression moving north-northeast at a speed of about 2km/h, located roughly 50km southeast of Kemaman, Terengganu.

MetMalaysia's National Weather and Earthquake Operations Centre, in a statement, said the storm could generate maximum wind speeds of up to 56km/h.

According to the centre, the weather conditions may bring continuous heavy rain, strong winds and rough seas over the South China Sea. – Bernama
