beautyexpo and Cosmobeauté Malaysia 2025 concludes with strong international participation and high-quality buyers

KUALA LUMPUR: The 23rd edition of beautyexpo and the 20th edition of Cosmobeaute Malaysia concluded on a high note, cementing their reputation as Malaysia’s most influential platform for beauty trade and innovation.

Over four dynamic days, the event delivered what the industry demands most: meaningful connections, qualified buyers, and high-impact business opportunities.

The 2025 edition attracted 11,528 on-floor attendees from over 71 countries and regions, with strong representation from key growth markets including Singapore, China, the Philippines, and South Korea.

The exhibition floor featured 300 exhibitors showcasing 1,000 beauty brands from 15 countries and regions, including Malaysia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.

From K-beauty innovations and J-beauty craftsmanship to emerging halal cosmetics and sustainable formulations, the diversity on display reflected the full spectrum of Asia's booming beauty economy.

This year's enhanced VIP Buyer programme welcomed 150 exclusive buyers from 10 countries and regions, creating an efficient marketplace for exhibitors to forge high-impact partnerships. From major distributors and retailers to manufacturers and brand owners, the show floor facilitated productive business negotiations and cross-border collaborations.

beautyexpo and Cosmobeaute Malaysia organising chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat expressed his appreciation to the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade), Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), and the Halal Development Corporation (HDC) for their continued support.

“Your steadfast commitment continues to position Malaysia as a global hub for halal-certified, sustainable and cutting-edge beauty innovations while strengthening the nation’s reputation as a world class destination for international exhibitions and conventions,” said Abdul Rahman.

Visitors and exhibitors alike praised the event for its business-driven environment and quality networking opportunities.

“This event has made a significant impact on the skincare industry, particularly in beauty, by bringing together numerous suppliers and manufacturers from various countries. It is a fantastic event for Malaysia and having it annually would not only benefit the industry but also serve as a great opportunity for more people to visit Malaysia,” said Iris Vaporoso, of Iluminara Skin Care Products Trading, Philippines.

“There are numerous exhibitors here, which gives me the opportunity to choose my partners wisely. This event has greatly assisted me in my sourcing journey, as I can find quality products to supply in Cambodia, as well as potential partners for ODM and OEM collaborations. With the growing focus on skincare and beauty, this expo is the perfect platform to expand the cosmetic industry efficiently,” said Pichchenda Yen, of P Empire Pharma, Cambodia.

“We have connections with many companies here, not just from Malaysia. This is a great opportunity to connect with organisations from around the world and establish new contacts and collaborations. For sure, we will be back next year. It's modern and innovative, and we are discovering new technologies and ways to collaborate with others in Asia. It’s quite a beautiful experience,” said Vanessa Pezzutto, of Bang Nanobiotech, Italy.

“There’s significant interest in our offerings, particularly the mini packets. A major distributor here, Lotus, is keen to learn more about our products and potentially distribute them. Malaysia is a central hub, making it ideal for marketing our products. I truly believe this will greatly help in starting to export my business to Asian countries,” said Dae Won In, of Wooil C&Tech, South Korea.

As the beauty industry continues to evolve, Cosmobeaute Malaysia and beautyexpo 2026 is poised to lead its next chapter of growth. Returning from Sept 29 to Oct 1, next year, the show will feature a streamlined three-day format designed to maximise efficiency and deliver greater business value through targeted matchmaking, market insights, and brand exposure.

Whether you're seeking distribution across Asia, scouting emerging trends, or exploring strategic partnerships, this is where your next breakthrough awaits.
