Perodua to launch first EV at end of month, says Anwar


RAWANG: Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is set to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) that meets national requirements at the end of this month, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said that the launch of the fully Malaysian-made Perodua EV will be part of the National Agenda.

"The EV to be launched will be affordable, meet national needs, and contribute to the country's economy," he said during a visit and engagement session with Perodua employees here Tuesday (Nov 11). - Bernama
