Anwar cancels Pahang visit due to back pain

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has cancelled his planned working visit to Pahang on Sunday (Nov 2) due to back pain.

In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office said the last-minute cancellation was made following advice from his medical team, as his condition had restricted his movement.

“The Prime Minister has been advised by doctors to get sufficient rest,” the statement said.

The Prime Minister also expressed his sincere apologies, especially to the people of Pahang who had prepared to welcome him.
