Malaysia's unemployment rate declines to 3.2% in 2024, says DOSM

PUTRAJAYA: The unemployment rate declined to 3.2% while the number of graduates increased to 5.98 million in 2024, according to the 2024 Graduates Statistics released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) on Saturday (Nov 1).

Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the graduate unemployment rate declined by 0.2% compared to 3.4% in the previous year.
