Trump dances upon arrival to Malaysia for Asean Summit

SEPANG: US President Donald Trump brought out a few moves of his own upon his arrival here on Sunday (Oct 26) for the 47th Asean Summit.

Upon arrival at KLIA’s Bunga Raya Complex here, Trump shared a light moment with performers when he joined the dance troupe briefly from the red carpet before talking to them.

Trump also held both the US and Malaysia flags, waving them jovially.

He then got into the Cadillac One, simply known as “The Beast”, together with Anwar at 10.13am where they are expected to head to the 47th Asean Summit and related summits at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

They were accompanied by a tight security detail motorcade.

This marks Trump's maiden official visit to Malaysia and his first participation in an Asean Leaders' Summit since returning to office.

Trump is the third American president in history to visit Malaysia, after Lyndon B. Johnson in 1966 and Barack Obama in 2014 and 2015.
