Penang cops arrest four over suitcase murder case


BUTTERWORTH: Penang police have arrested four individuals over a murder case where a body was found stuffed in a suitcase.

Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail said two men and two women, aged from 24 to 32, were arrested in several locations in the state and in Perak on Tuesday (Oct 21).

"They have been remanded for seven days. I will release information on the arrests and case developments in a media conference tomorrow," he said on Wednesday (Oct 22).

A body was found stuffed in a suitcase near Ampang Jajar Flats, Permatang Pauh here on Oct 9.

He was identified as Lee Boon Han, 31, an insurance agent who was reported missing by his family on Oct 8. – Bernama
