Petrol pump fight in Pandan Indah leaves driver injured


KUALA LUMPUR: A fight at the petrol pump has left one driver injured.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail, in a statement today, said that the fight occurred on Oct 17 at a petrol station in Pandan Indah.

At the time, the suspect, a lorry driver, had accused the victim of cutting the queue.

"He then explained that he was using a different pump. After making payment, the victim was then approached by the suspect again and a fight ensued.

"During the fight, an unidentified object was jammed into the victim's nose, leading to injuries. The fight between the two led to the victim being injured at the nose, left hand and head areas," he said.

Members of the public then intervened and separated the two individuals.

"The police are still in the midst of tracing down the suspect. At the time he was driving a lorry," he said.
