"Let us continue to stand firmly behind our sports heroes and heroines, offering prayers and unwavering support so that more victories can be achieved for Malaysia! Malaysia Juara, Malaysiaku Boleh!" he added.

Pearly-Thinaah were crowned champions after defeating Japan's Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi 21-7, 21-9 in the finals.

In a separate post, Ahmad Zahid also congratulated the national men's doubles pair, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, who emerged as runners-up in the same tournament last night.
