Rough seas claim angler's life in Labuan


LABUAN: A fishing trip turned tragic late Wednesday (Oct 8) when one man died and two others were found unconscious after being hit by strong waves at Pohon Batu Beach here.

The incident occurred at 11.10pm when the trio – identified as Zain Iden, 50, Isa Iden and Untung Jurung, both 53 – were believed to have been fishing near the shore during rough sea conditions.
