National footballer's mum-in-law nabbed in cheating probe


GOMBAK: The mother-in-law of a national football player has been arrested with three other people as part of an investigation into a cheating case.

It is learnt that the arrests were made in Rawang on Wednesday (Oct 1), and all the suspects are under remand until Oct 8.

The case is being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.

Gombak district police have confirmed the matter and are expected to release a full statement on the case soon.
