SERDANG: The Great Outdoor Expo 2025 (TGO) flagged off yesterday along with Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia (KCCM), welcoming visitors of all ages to a lively showcase of adventure, travel and lifestyle experiences.

The three-day expo, organised by Star Media Group which runs until tomorrow at MAEPS Serdang, aims to inspire Malaysians to explore the outdoors while enjoying activities, talks and entertainment along with tourism packages.

As the official collaborating partner, Tourism Malaysia aims to promote the beauty of domestic destinations, encouraging visitors to discover the wonders of the country.

Visitors can enjoy attractive and affordable outdoor activities and equipment, including purchasing exciting travel packages for domestic travel.

In addition, local handicrafts, jewellery and delicacies are also available along with virtual reality experiences that allow visitors to undergo walking and paragliding.

Not forgetting a thrilling test drive for visitors brought by Toyota 4x4 vehicle.

A representative from Toyota said the exhibition showcased a variety of Toyota vehicles for public viewing.

“We want visitors to have a test drive with the Toyota Hilux in the forest terrain environment.

“Visitors can also come to TGO to get promotional deals of the vehicles they wish to buy,” she said.

“We have fishing reels for various types of fishing activities.

“Avid anglers can come to TGO and enjoy some good deals,” he said.

Meanwhile, 10Camp, a camping equipment distributor, was also present to display its equipment at a discounted price.

“This is an opportunity for customers to sit in our camp and experience the tools on display,” said Zaid Zainal, the managing director of 10Camp.

“This exhibition is very meaningful for us to connect directly with the outdoor community, introduce our brand story to a bigger audience and show how 10Camp is building a lifestyle ecosystem – not just selling products.”

Amazfit Malaysia is also showcasing its line-up of fitness and smartwatches at discounted prices exclusively while AZ E-Bike exhibited its electric bikes, allowing visitors to enjoy a test drive as well.

“We are here to introduce our five series e-bikes such as tricycle, bicycle and scooters,” said AZ E-Bike marketing manager Gwee HK.

“Our e-bikes are for short distance and suitable for highways, don’t need insurance, road tax or licence but the rider must have basic knowledge of riding a motorcycle.”

Visitors of all ages are also welcomed to enjoy thrilling flying fox, rock climbing as well as a petting zoo.

There are also drifting shows by Zen Low and other activities like colouring contests, face painting and pottery-making sessions.

Besides that, attendees will have the chance to bring home exclusive lucky draw prizes such as vouchers, outdoor gear, holiday packages, e-bikes and more during the expo.
