FT Umno info chief resigns from Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Gulam Muzaffar Gulam Mustakim has resigned as a board of trustee for the Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan.

In a statement on Wed (Sept 17), the Federal Territories Umno information chief announced that he has decided to resign with immediate effect.

"I would like to inform everyone that I have decided to resign as a member of the board of trustees of the foundation with immediate effect.

"I will send a letter of resignation to the chairman (Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa) in the near future," he said.

Gulam said he made the decision in line with the decision of the Batu division Umno political bureau to sever ties with political partners in the Pakatan Harapan component in Batu and Wilayah Persekutuan.
