KUALA LUMPUR: Holiday-seekers will be able to find great travel deals during the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair, thanks to MATTA’s returning partnership with RHB Bank.
This marks their fifth consecutive partnership.
To be held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) from Sept 5 until Sept 7, visitors can enjoy savings of up to RM800 on specially curated travel packages offered by RHB at this year’s MATTA Fair.
Also available are discounts of up to RM1,500 on flights, hotels and tour bookings when using RBH Visa Cards/-i at the highly anticipated fair.
RHB Bank consumer finance head Sien Vee Loc said there would be the new addition of Muslim-friendly travel packages.
“Visitors can enjoy similar savings of up to RM800 on international flights when they book with a few key partners.
“These partners include Mitra Malaysia, Andalusia Travel, Aba Travel, Ambushek Al Haramin Travel, and Tours and Golden Destinations,” he said during a press conference with MATTA president Nigel Wong yesterday.
Sien said that visitors can also stand a chance to win up to RM20,000 in cash when they open a RHB Multi Currency Visa Debit Card/-i at the fair with a waiver of initial deposit and card issuance fee.
“By using this card, customers can enjoy a 0% installment plan when paying for deals from our various participating merchant partners,” he said.
“This initiative reflects RHB’s deep commitment to enriching the travel experience through innovation, convenience and value,” Sien added.
Wong said that RHB Bank’s return as MATTA Fair’s Exclusive Platinum Sponsor had allowed for even greater opportunities for holiday-goers to find their dream travel and holiday adventures.
“We believe everyone should experience the beauty of travel and witness the world in its truest colours as we connect with people of various cultures.
“This partnership aims to achieve that by bringing even greater value to our visitors, members and the travel industry at large.”
Wong said this year’s edition of the MATTA Fair will reward visitors who take the free shuttle buses to the fair.
Named the Ride-and-Reels vlog contest, visitors just have to take a video of themselves taking the shuttle buses to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
Regardless of the contest, Wong said the complimentary shuttle services will be available from KL Sentral and Sunway Putra Mall to Mitec every five to 10 minutes throughout the fair’s three days.
Expected to be the biggest fair in MATTA’s history, the upcoming 57th MATTA Fair will cover 40,800 sq ft across three levels with 2,040 fully booked booths.
A total of 334 companies will participate in the fair, from licensed tour and travel agents to various other stakeholders, with admission to be free for all.
