Uni student falls to death, father claims she was bullied

KUALA LUMPUR: A father has alleged that his daughter had fallen to her death after being bullied.

Sinar Harian reported that the man, who goes by Jeff Ho, had filed a police report after suspecting that the death of his 22-year-old daughter was due to bullying.

He said that he was informed by the condominium management that his daughter had fallen from the 22nd floor on Wednesday (Aug 20).

"I was told by her friends that other students at her university had been mentally bullying her.

"There had been pressure from her friends due to a difference in opinions," he said.

He added that she had complained about the matter to her siblings.

A previous attempt was also thwarted after security guards saved her from falling from her home last week.

Jeff urged that the authorities take note of the matter to avoid others from ending up with his circumstances.
