Dr Wee, Wanita Umno check on injured, ill constituents in Semarang

PETALING JAYA: Residents of Kampung Seri Paya, Semarang, who are ill or recovering from injuries, were visited by Ayer Hitam MP Dr Wee Ka Siong, together with the Ayer Hitam Wanita Umno and local branch leaders, as part of the Ziarah Kasih programme.

Among them was Muhammad Azim Syahmi Rais Bambang Arif Noto Kusumo, who sustained broken arms and legs in a recent road accident.

“Next, we visited an elderly resident, Mohd Arif bin Haji Simin, who is bedridden due to old age.

"Although physically weak, he remains strong in spirit as he faces life’s challenges,” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Sunday (Aug 10).

The delegation also met Norazizi bin Jemail, who is recovering from accident-related injuries, and Heriah binti Taib from Kampung Parit Kuari, an elderly woman who has been visually impaired since childhood and is cared for by her niece.

“Let us all pray for the speedy recovery of these patients,” Dr Wee added.
