OKU on three-wheeled motorbike dies in crash

IPOH: A 63-year-old man with disabilities has been killed after his three-wheeled motorcycle he was on skidded and fell into a drain in Lambor Kanan near Seri Iskandar.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said they received a distress call at 8.52pm on Saturday (Aug 9) night and dispatched a team of six firemen from the Seri Iskandar fire station to the scene.

"The victim was pinned under the motorcycle and was confirmed dead at the scene by health personnel," he said in a statement.

Rescuers managed to remove the victim's body from the drain before handing it over to the police for further action.
