KUALA LUMPUR: The Department of Environment (DOE) has pledged to enhance its enforcement framework following an investigation report by the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) regarding the operation of licensed recycling premises in Johor.
While the EAIC found that all enforcement actions by Johor DOE were carried out in accordance with the law and standard procedures, the department has acknowledged the need for further improvements.
