STR recipients can now get treatment at private clinics under Madani medical scheme

PETALING JAYA: Under the Madani medical scheme, eligible Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients can now seek treatment at private clinics registered under ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd.

In a statement Wednesday (June 25), ProtectHealth said the private clinics were located in 10 districts nationwide - Kuala Lumpur; Gombak, Hulu Langat, Petaling and Klang in Selangor; Johor Baru; Kinta in Perak, Timur Laut in Penang; Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

"Free treatment under the Madani medical scheme includes consultation, examination, medicines, procedures and follow-up treatment," it said.

ProtectHealth added that the allocation for each family was up to RM250, RM125 for single senior citizens and RM75 for single STR recipients.

It said that eligible STR recipients only need to bring along their MyKad to receive treatment, without needing to pre-register.

"STR recipients can check their eligibility for the scheme and find the nearest clinic at www.protecthealth.com.my/skimperubatanmadani," it added.

Meanwhile, ProtectHealth also said private clinics are welcome to register to be listed as panel clinics under the Madani medical scheme.

"ProtectHealth is optimistic that with the involvement of more private clinics, the health and welfare of the B50 group will be elevated," it said.
