STPM 2024 sees highest-ever national CGPA so far


SELAYANG: The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2024 examinations has improved by 0.01 from 2023 to 2.85.

Malaysian Examinations Council chairman Prof Datuk Dr Md Amin Md Taff said this is the highest national CGPA since the STPM was introduced.

He said 1,266 (3.06%) of the candidates scored a perfect CGPA of 4.00, which is also an increase from last year when there were 1,116 candidates.

A total of 41,434 candidates sat for the examinations for all three STPM 2024 semesters.
