SUNGAI PETANI: A dog was seen in a viral video being dragged with a chain by a motorcycle ridden by a man in his 60s.
It is believed that the incident happened during the weekend near Bukit Puteri in Sungai Petani.
In the 48-second video clip, the dog was seen bleeding and suffering serious injuries.
Several passersby who witnessed the incident were seen stopping the man in anger and shouting at him.
When the man brought his motorcycle to a halt, the dog was already too weak to stand and collapsed on the road, leaving onlookers heartbroken.
In the video, the man can be heard telling the passersby that the dog refused to sit in the motorcycle basket, hence he chained the dog with a chain and dragged the animal.
