Former TV station employee faints while facing 743 data tampering charges


KUALA LUMPUR: A former television station employee fainted in the dock after part of the 743 charges of data tampering involving the company's customer management system were read out to her in the Sessions Court here on Wednesday (June 4).

Nora Idayu Jaafar, 48, who was serving with Astro at the time, collapsed and fainted as the court interpreter was reading the 30th charge under the Computer Crimes Act 1997 before Judge Norma Ismail.
