PM congratulates King on His Majesty's official birthday


KUALA LUMPUR:Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, on the occasion of His Majesty’s official birthday celebration on Monday (June 2).

In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Anwar said that on behalf of the Madani government, he prayed for His Majesty, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty, the Queen of Malaysia, as well as the entire Royal Family to be blessed with long-lasting health and to always be under the protection and blessings of Allah SWT.

"May His Majesty remain calm in safeguarding the nation with justice and fairness and continue to occupy the highest position in the country's Constitution, in line with the role of the royal institution as the protector of the Islamic faith and a symbol of unity and harmony of all races in the country,” he said.

Anwar also reaffirmed the people’s unwavering loyalty to the constitutional monarchy, concluding his message with a heartfelt tribute: "Patik and all Malaysians will continue to pledge undivided obedience and loyalty to the constitutional monarchy, Dirgahayu Tuanku," he said. - Bernama
