Local entrepreneurs thrive under SDSI programme, sales jump by over 20pc, says Ewon


TAWAU: A total of 90 per cent of local entrepreneurs who participated in the government’s long-running One District One Industry (SDSI) Programme under the Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry nationwide have managed to increase the sales value of their products by at least 20 per cent.

Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said that at the heart of this success were inspiring stories like Koperasi Desa Gedok Gemenceh, a rendang maman producer from Negri Sembilan, which recorded a staggering 77 per cent rise in sales and income.
