KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested three men in connection with the vandalism of five vehicles at a Desa Mentari car park on Monday (Aug 3).
Petaling Jaya OCPD ACP Shamsudin Mamat said police picked up the suspects early Tuesday morning (Aug 4).
"A remand application for all three suspects will be made at the Petaling Jaya Court this morning," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
The arrests follow a police report lodged at 5.00am on Monday regarding a group of men seen smashing vehicle windows in the residential parking area.
Earlier, Petaling Jaya Deputy OCPD Supt M Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly confirmed that police are investigating the case under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief causing damage.
