Pulai MP in stable condition, says Johor Pakatan

JOHOR BARU: Pulai MP Suhaizan Kayat, who has been hospitalised since Tuesday night, is currently in a stable condition, says Pakatan Harapan.

Johor Pakatan chairman and state Amanah chief Aminolhuda Hassan urged the public to avoid speculating about Suhaizan’s health.

“His admission into the hospital has sparked panic and speculation, with many people coming up with theories and assumptions.

“We hope the public will not jump to conclusions and spread unverified statements, which do not help the situation nor Suhaizan’s health,” said the Sri Gading MP in a statement on Wednesday (April 30) after visiting Suhaizan.

Aminolhuda stated that his party would provide updates on Suhaizan’s health periodically and expressed hope that the public would pray for the patient’s recovery.

The Pulai MP was earlier admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Iskandar Puteri at around 11 pm on Tuesday (April 29) for medical treatment.

His personal assistant, Mohamad Nizam Junait, reportedly said he had a fever and experienced a drop in oxygen levels before he was admitted into the unit.
