Pulai MP Suhaizan in ICU with an infection

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Pulai MP Suhaizan Kayat is being treated for an infection at the intensive care unit of a private hospital here.

His personal assistant Mohamad Nizam Junait said Suhaizan was admitted at around 11pm on Tuesday (April 29).

“He had a fever and experienced a drop in oxygen levels and was admitted to the ICU.

“Let us pray for his speedy recovery,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (April 30).

Nizam added that Suhaizan’s condition has stabilised, but visitors are not allowed until the MP is out of the ICU.

Suhaizan, of Amanah, won his seat in a by-election on Sept 9, 2023 following the death of former agriculture and food security minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, who was also Simpang Jeram assemblyman.
