Pasir Gudang Hospital set to open soon

JOHOR BARU: Construction of the Pasir Gudang Hospital, costing more than RM380mil, is almost complete and it will be operational soon, says state exco member Ling Tian Soon.

He said the construction of the hospital has been fully completed, with only the installation of medical equipment pending before it can commence operations.

“The Public Works Department (JKR) will conduct tests on all systems soon to ensure they function properly.

“After that, officers from the Health Ministry will conduct detailed inspections to ensure that all aspects of the construction and equipment meet the stipulated technical, engineering and medical standards,” he said in a statement, reported Bernama.

Earlier, Ling, who is state health and environment committee chairman, accompanied Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad (pic) to check on the progress of the hospital project.
