PETALING JAYA: Celebrating a decade of recognising the nation’s top property developers, StarProperty Awards has officially launched its 10th Anniversary initiative by revisiting past Excellence Award winners over the next two weeks.

This effort aims to assess whether award recipients have successfully delivered their promises, maintaining the high standards that earned them the prestigious recognition.

Since its inception, StarProperty Awards has been a trusted benchmark in the real estate industry, highlighting developers who excel in innovation, quality and sustainability.

Now, after 10 consecutive years of honouring industry leaders, StarProperty is taking an extra step to reaffirm the credibility of its awards and ensure long-term accountability.

As part of this initiative, StarProperty has identified multiple past Excellence Award winners across Malaysia, focusing on key developments in the Klang Valley as well as the northern and southern regions, specifically in Kedah and Johor Baru.

Some of the selected categories include The Neighbourhood Award – Best Comprehensive Township, The Earth Conscious Award – Best Sustainable Development, The Skyline Award – Best High-rise Residential Development, The Business Estate Award – Best Industrial Park and The Investor’s Choice Award – Highest ROI Development.

This revisit serves as a testament to StarProperty’s commitment to integrity, ensuring that recognised projects not only meet expectations but continue to provide lasting value to homeowners and investors.

To maintain its rigorous evaluation process, StarProperty is working with representatives from eight esteemed associations, institutions and organisations to partake in the judging process.

These distinguished professionals bring specialised expertise, ensuring that all revisited projects undergo thorough scrutiny based on the highest industry standards.

The organisations involved in this initiative include Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector, Malaysia (PEPS), Green Building Index (GBI), Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM), Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP), Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers (MIPFM) and Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)

By collaborating with these organisations, StarProperty ensures that every development reassessed for recognition undergoes a comprehensive, unbiased evaluation process.

This strengthens the credibility of StarProperty Awards, reinforcing its position as a trusted industry benchmark.

The initiative to revisit past winners not only highlights StarProperty’s commitment to excellence but also assures homeowners, investors and industry stakeholders that award-winning developments continue to uphold their promised standards.

Through this rigorous reassessment, StarProperty Awards reaffirms its role in setting the bar for the Malaysian real estate industry and ensuring that award-winning projects remain exemplary.

StarProperty hopes that this initiative will set the stage for an even more transparent, accountable and impactful awards programme, continuing to recognise the best in Malaysian property development for decades to come.
