Teen girl goes missing, family seeks help to find her


SHAH ALAM: A 16-year-old girl has been missing since leaving her home in Seksyen 20 here on Sunday.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said her 46-year-old father lodged a missing person report at about 9.27am on Monday (March 10).

"She is believed to have left home after her Internet access was restricted and after being told off by her father for excessive mobile phone usage.

"The victim is 158cm and was last seen leaving her house wearing a long sleeve white shirt, black headscarf and black pants.

"We have opened a missing person inquiry paper," he said in a statement on Tuesday (March 11).

He urged those with information to contact investigating officer Insp Nor Sabryna Mohammad Taha at 014-5130450.
