Bella’s son calls Syed Saddiq ‘dad’ at Parliament

TALK of a romance between Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and actress-singer Bella Astillah has gained traction, especially with Bella’s son Ayden calling him “dad” during a recent visit to Parliament, Kosmo! reported.

Many were touched by a TikTok clip showing Ayden excitedly running to his mother and addressing Syed Saddiq as “dad”.

What drew even more attention was when the 33-year-old MP introduced Ayden as his child.

“There’s my son, his mum’s bodyguard,” he quipped.

Netizens expressed emotional reactions, emphasising the importance of a father figure in a child’s life.

At the same time, Syed Saddiq’s brother, Syed Abdullah, has also shown his support should his younger sibling find a match in Bella, 31.

Their close bond has been a topic of discussion, especially after they became brand ambassadors and climbed Mount Kinabalu together.

Syed Saddiq also appeared in Bella’s music video Tapi Bukan Denganmu, further fuelling speculation about their relationship.

> Despite being 99 years old, Mat Zin Abdullah from Kampung Tiang Kulat, Terengganu, remains committed to fasting during Ramadan, Harian Metro reported.

Blessed with 15 children, 100 grandchildren, 128 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, he is grateful for his good health, including clear vision and hearing.

“Fasting is a pillar of Islam and as servants of Allah, we must be grateful for the blessings given to us.

“Even as I approach a century of life, I am thankful for the good health that allows me to continue fasting,” Mat Zin said.

He said he followed his usual Ramadan routine of sahur, tarawih and breaking fast with moderation.

His 10th child, 50-year-old Zubairiah, shared that Mat Zin remains active.

“Six of us live in the same village, right next to our father’s house, so we take turns ensuring that his meals are prepared daily.

“We’ve been following this schedule for the past six years. As his children, we just want to see him happy in his golden years,” she said.
