Kulai e-waste factory raided, RM40mil items seized


JOHOR BARU: Marine police raided a factory illegally storing and processing scheduled electronic waste (e-waste), worth RM41.41mil in Kampung Baru Sengkang, Kulai on Tuesday (Feb 25).

Johor police chief Datuk M. Kumar said acting on public information, the raid conducted at around 8.15am to dismantle the syndicate under Ops Taring Landai involved the state Environment Department and Kulai Municipal Council.
