Autopsy of Ayer Kuning assemblyman Isham Shahruddin completed


GEORGE TOWN: The autopsy of Ayer Kuning assemblyman Ishsam Shahruddin was completed at the Forensic Medicine Department of Penang Hospital and his body was taken back to his home in Ipoh at about 10.40pm on Saturday (Feb 22).

Ishsam's body was transported in a hearse accompanied by a police MPV as well as several vehicles of the Perak UMNO and Barisan Nasional leadership along with his wife and children.

Ishsam's widow, Rozlita Abdullah, 55, opened the window of the vehicle she was in as they passed the media taking pictures of the hearse and thanked them.

With a tearful, swollen face, Rozlita was seen being comforted several times by women since arriving at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Northeast District OCPD ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad said an autopsy found the cause of death was a heart attack. – Bernama
