HONG Kong superstar Tony Leung has denied that he will be appearing in the next season of Squid Game, a dystopian survival horror TV series, after photos of him taken together with the series’ director Hwang Dong-hyuk resurfaced online, reported Sin Chew Daily.

With the popularity of Squid Game 2 reaching an all-time high after it was ranked the most-watched show on Netflix in 93 countries, photos of Leung and Hwang taken two years ago began circulating online again.

The photo was captioned “Ready for Squid Game?”. It sparked speculation that Leung will be starring in Season 3.

When contacted, Leung’s manager and the production studio of Squid Game denied the rumours.

They said Leung was just having a meal with Hwang and he would not be appearing in the series.> A one-armed ride-sharing driver in Kuala Lumpur claimed that his deceased wife pulled him back to the realm of the living after he spent months in a coma, reported China Press.

The man recounted the incident to an Internet user who shared his story online.

Four years ago, he got into a traffic accident while his wife was riding pillion on his motorcycle.

His wife died at the scene while he lost his right arm and was comatosed due to brain injury.

While unconscious, he had a dream that his wife was trying to wake him up, which ended up with him recovering.
