MetMalaysia: Thunderstorms, severe weather expected in peninsula until 4pm today


PETALING JAYA: The ongoing thunderstorms over six states in Peninsular Malaysia are expected to continue until 4pm, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In an advisory issued on Sunday (Dec 29), it said that thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over Kedah (Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling and Kulim), Perak (Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak and Muallim), Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Melaka as well as Kuala Lumpur.
