MetMalaysia: Severe weather expected in five states until 6pm on Christmas

PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in parts of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak until 6pm on Wednesday (Dec 25).

The Meteorology Malaysia Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning at 3.55pm of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling and Hulu Langat) Kuala Lumpur and Negri Sembilan (Jelebu).

Severe weather is also expected in Sarawak: Limbang as well as in Sabah: Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Nabawan and Tambunan), West Coast (Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud) and Tawau (Tawau and Semporna).
