Print shop owner found dead in JB shophouse


JOHOR BARU: A 40-year-old male print shop owner has been found dead inside his shophouse in Taman Bestari Indah near Ulu Tiram here.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said that the victim's 32-year-old Indonesian girlfriend found his body and alerted the police.

"The victim's body was found at around 12.30pm on Sunday (Dec 8). The girlfriend was looking for as he did not contact her for two days.

"The victim stayed alone at the premises and checks at the scene found no criminal evidence," he said here on Sunday.

ACP Raub said that the victim's body was sent to Sultan Ismail Hospital (HSI) for a post-mortem examination.

He added that police have classified the case as sudden death.
