Thunderstorm warning issued for Selangor, Putrajaya


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over some states, including Selangor and Putrajaya.

In an advisory issued by the Meteorological Department at 12.50pm on Monday (Dec 2), thunderstorms are forecast for Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat and Sepang), and Putrajaya

Also seeing rains are Pahang (Pekan and Rompin), Negri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau) and Johor (Segamat and Mersing).

The advisory is until 3pm.

Malaysia is currently experiencing the Northeast Monsoon.
