JB restaurant owner shrugs off hateful online messages for feeding stray dogs

PETALING JAYA: A female restaurant owner in Johor is holding strong to her beliefs after receiving hateful messages online for feeding stray dogs.

The woman who owns a restaurant in Johor Baru, has been receiving criticism from individuals who have threatened to boycott her business for her noble deed.

"They are God's creation too and I can't turn them away and will continue feeding them," she said on TikTok.

"I am not filming my act of feeding dogs for publicity," she said adding that she did it because she liked doing so.

The woman, who said she has 50 cats at home said that she would continue to feed and care for all animals.

Her video has since been flooded by Malaysians who offered her words of support.

"Where is your shop, I will be your customer to support your kind deeds," said a user.
