Ministry seizes 11 tons of controlled goods in Sarawak

KUCHING: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry seized over 11 tons of controlled commodities believed to be misappropriated at a premises in Kampung Stungkor, Lundu, some 50km from here.

The ministry's Sarawak director Matthew Dominic Barin said the seizure on Monday (Nov 13) involved 9,864kg of raw sugar and 2,078kg of cooking oil, valued at RM33,307.40.
